PCHETA Lobby Day

The Patient Quality of Life Coalition (PQLC) is organizing its next Lobby Day on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, and registration is now open. Advocates from key target states are especially encouraged to participate as we work together to advance the Palliative Care and Hospice Education and Training Act (PCHETA).
PCHETA is bipartisan legislation designed to expand access to high-quality palliative care by investing in workforce training, public education, and research. It aims to establish Palliative Care and Hospice Education Centers, support interdisciplinary training programs, and launch a national awareness campaign to inform patients, families, and health professionals about the benefits of palliative care.
The National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care has been a steadfast advocate for PCHETA, collaborating with its member organizations to promote the bill’s passage. Please consider how you can help—whether by joining the upcoming Lobby Day or amplifying support for PCHETA in your networks.
