September 19, 2019. As previously reported, the National Consensus Project’s Clinical Practice Guidelines for Quality Palliative Care, 4th edition, (NCP Guidelines) have been reviewed and accepted by the ECRI Guidelines Trust™, a publicly available web-based repository of objective, evidence-based clinical practice guideline content. Its purpose is to provide physicians, nurses, other clinical specialties, and members of the healthcare community with up-to-date clinical practices to advance safe and effective patient care.
ECRI Guidelines Trust™ is capturing the most viewed Guideline Briefs on a monthly basis and the National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care is pleased to announce the NCP Guidelines received the most pageviews during the month of August. Access to the NCP Guidelines’ Brief and TRUST Scorecard is available on the ECRI Guidelines Trust™ website. (Note: to access, search ID number 549 or the word palliative.)
