NAHC-NHPCO Alliance Announces Inaugural Chief Executive Officer: Steve Landers, MD, MPH
The National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care (NCHPC) is pleased to welcome Steven Landers, MD, MPH, who was recently announced as the inaugural Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the newly merged NAHC-NHPCO Alliance (The Alliance). A recognized national leader and innovator in home health, primary care and aging services, Dr. Landers brings almost two decades of experience as a physician, executive leader and health policy advocate to The Alliance, which represents care at home and community providers across the country.
“This is an exciting time for our Coalition and for the field,” said Jessica Hausauer, executive director at the NCHPC. “Two of our members have joined forces, showing a commitment to unity, and strengthening national advocacy efforts. We celebrate the formation of the Alliance, and welcome Dr. Landers to our Coalition!”
Also, the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) unveiled the new name and logo, as well as the initial website for The National Alliance for Care at Home (the Alliance).
