December 20, 2018 – Coalition co-signed a letter with many organizations encouraging CMS to move forward with a serious illness payment model that will increase access to palliative care services for patients with serious illness. Joint letter urged CMS to consider a payment model that would incentivize high-quality, person- and family-centered care across diverse settings and maintain flexibility to encourage innovative development of team-based infrastructure.
