April 13, 2021. The National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care released a new Impact Report showcasing the collaborative and positive effect of how 13 member organizations can work together to improve serious illness care. The Report specifically provides an overview of activities and accomplishments this past year that includes, advocating for community-based palliative care and other health care policies, coordinating COVID-19 education and advocacy, addressing disparities and inequities, establishing a National Pediatric Palliative Care Task Force, engaging stakeholders for new palliative care measures, and improving public messaging. Read more.

The mission of the Coalition is to present a united, yet diverse voice to the public and policy makers on behalf of providers, professionals and other organizations who are interested in working together to advocate for equitable health care policies and programs that will improve the care of patients and families living with serious or life-threatening illnesses.
