The Coalition has been awarded a two year grant from the Cameron and Hayden Lord Foundation to establish a Pediatric Palliative Care (PPC) Task Force. The intent of the PPC Task Force is to improve national alignment and impact, help ensure coordinated field strategies, and coordinate the diverse pediatrics activities of Coalition member organizations and other key stakeholders that can improve access to high-quality palliative care for the children and families who need it.
The Coalition gratefully acknowledges the long-term efforts of our Coalition Members and others for their extensive contributions in driving the field’s progress to date and we look forward to working with all Coalition Members as their pediatric work continues. Special thanks to the Center to Advance Palliative Care who has been convening and working with a steering committee to identify key priorities and support initiatives leading to the establishment of this Task Force within the Coalition.
This new national PPC task force will leverage the platform and infrastructure of our Coalition, add value to all Coalition member organizations, expand involvement in PPC activities and catalyze growth in the field. More info here.
