In a new Coalition blog post, Katherine Ast, MSW, LCSW, Director, Quality and Research, American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, provides an overview of AAHPM’s Palliative Care Quality Measures Project and an update on the project’s first year accomplishments. The blog also highlights the uniqueness of the project’s measure development process and how the patient, caregiver, and family member voices are being included to ultimately improve the quality of care for patients with serious illness who are receiving palliative care.
